DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Year of the Pig with a Chinese Cooking Class\nJoin us for a hands-on cooking class in which Chef Zeff will share her Chinatown cooking secrets. In honor of the Year of the Pig\, all recipes will feature pork. The class will end with a convivial lunch.\nMarisha Zeffer’s kitchen\, 195 Westside Road\, Healdsburg \nSlow Food Members\, $35; non-members\, $45 \nYou will learn to make\n• Potstickers\n• Wonton soup\n• Steamed baby ribs in black bean sauce with steamed rice\n• Do-it-yourself fortune cookies \nWe’ll chop\, then stir fry or wok-steam our ingredients\, create dipping sauces\, and then enjoy our “bounty” in a shared lunch with appropriate beverages. \nPlease bring an apron\, a Chinese cleaver (if you have one) or a sharp paring knife\, and a cutting board. \nThis class is limited to 10 people.
