SUMMARY:The National Heirloom Expo
DESCRIPTION:Come and walk the aisles at the “World’s Pure Food Fair!”\, an event for pure food enthusiasts\, the national press\, home growers across the country\, farmers\, school groups and the general public. The Expo is now dubbed the “World’s Fair” of the heirloom industry! This is a “non-profit” event\, and any funds above cost will be donated to school gardens and food programs.\n  \nWe will be represented at the Slow Food California booth at the National Heirloom Exposition (7th Annual).  It is such a great local event\, come on down\, and be sure to stop by and say Hi!!

DESCRIPTION:  \nOur Snail of Approval project will be participating in the Agrarian Games \, join us for fun &  games!!\n  \n  \nAn interactive festival celebrating sustainable agriculture\, local food and family farms!\nFrom wheelbarrow relays to watermelon seed-spitting\, whether you’re a farmer or an eater\, a country bumpkin or a city-slicker\, join us for an afternoon of local food\, live music and farm-themed games to test your strength and speed\, your knowledge of soil types and your proficiency with a pitchfork.\nFor the fourth year in a row\, we invite all of California to come build\, explore and celebrate a more just\, healthy and regenerative food community for all.\nStop by the FARMERS MARKET for locally-grown products!\nLIVE MUSIC by the The Hubbub Club\, Oddjob Ensemble\, Miss Moonshine and Buck Thrifty!\nFood trucks and vendors serving up organic ingredients from our favorite farms and ranches\, plus wine and beer from the North Bay’s finest.\nActivities include: the haybale toss\, squash bowling\, the honeybee hustle\, competitive irrigation\, butter churning\, potato sack races and much\, much more.
