DESCRIPTION:Bring a Guest and Introduce Them to Slow Food! \nYou probably have at least one friend you always thought would be a good Slow Food member. Here’s your opportunity to show them what it’s all about! \nWe invite you and a guest (or guests!) to join us for a delicious supper among the redwoods\, and hear how Slow Food connects our chapter to the state\, national\, and international movement. \nRSVP\nBring a Guest!\nFamilies\, children\, and anyone curious about Slow Food are warmly welcome. We encourage every member to bring a guest who is not yet a Slow Food member–this event is a great introduction to Slow Food. Admission is free for you and your guest(s). \nIf you attend without bringing a guest\, the cost is $5. \nFor Supper\, Please Bring: \n\nA beverage\nYour place-setting including drinking glass\nAn appetizer\, side or dessert according to your last name\nA-L: Salad or side dish\nM-S: Dessert\nT-Z: Appetizer\n\nWe will provide home-made grilled sausage. \nThere is a parking fee of $12\, so plan to carpool! \nPlease reserve your ticket below so we know you’re coming. If your plans change\, we’d appreciate it if you’d cancel your ticket or email us so we can offer your spot to someone else. \nTiffany Nurrenbern\nOur speaker is Tiffany Nurrenbern\, who has served in Slow Food leadership at the chapter\, state\, and international levels. She is currently the Board Co-chair for Slow Food USA. \nTiffany is also Chief Engagement Officer at the national organization\, Zero Foodprint. For many years\, Tiffany worked at Roots of Change where she built and facilitated the California Food Policy Council\, and led ROC’s Urban-Rural Roundtable Program. She previously served as program director for the Farmers Guild. \nTiffany will give us a broad perspective on Slow Food from the chapter to international levels.
