This event will raise funds for Sonoma County North’s Local Farmer Project, which awards grants to farmers and ranchers working in Sonoma County. The project team is Yael Bernier, Rebecca Bozelli, and Kelly Osman.
Yael will give us information about the cultivation and harvesting of garlic and describe the differences among the garlic types that she grows (some of which are on the Slow Food Ark of Taste.
We will taste roasted garlic on bread, compare the flavors, and discuss which ones pair best with which foods. Our tasting will be accompanied by your choice of beer or wine.
Following the tasting we will have a garlicky surprise!
$40 for Slow Food members, and $50 for non-members.
