Join us for a tour of Sonoma County Meat Company, owned by our members Rian Rinn and Jenine Alexander in Santa Rosa. Preceded by a picnic at nearby Bayer Farm.

We will meet at noon at Bayer Farm, 1550 West Avenue, Santa Rosa. Bring your own lunch and beverage (no alcohol at this one!).

Bayer Farm is a unique collaboration between Santa Rosa Recreation & Parks and LandPaths. It is a 6-acre urban farm & city park-in-the-making in the heart of the Roseland neighborhood, 1 mile from Downtown Santa Rosa, with old barns, community gardens, and other agricultural aspects that are a joyful relief from the urban environment! We will get an insight into what is happening at this unique and wonderful farm.

Next we will head over to Sonoma County Meat Company, 35 Sebastopol Avenue, Santa Rosa. We will have a 2pm tour of the facility and watch a demo carcass breakdown.

So Co Meat Co is a retail butcher shop and USDA and State inspected Cut & Wrap facility. They focus on locally and sustainably raised meat.

$15.00 per person (non-members $20)

RSVP to slowfoodsonomacountynorth@gmail.com and mail checks to 985 Lupine Ct., Healdsburg, 95448
