The tour is approximately an hour and begins promptly at 10 am; please arrive by 9:45.

After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch together at the Cornerstone picnic tables. These tables are not shaded, so please bring a sun hat. Either brown bag it, or pick up lunch at the onsite Park 121 Restaurant. (Better yet, order your lunch ahead at 938-8579. Park 121.)  Chef at Park 121 is Bruce Riezenman, a long-time member of Slow Food. He has been sourcing locally for more than 25 years, and has built relationships with farmers and producers throughout Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties.

Cornerstone Sonoma is a marketplace featuring shopping, boutique wine rooms, artisanal foods, art-inspired gardens, and live music. It is home to the newly completed Sunset Gardens + Outdoor Test Kitchen.

The five Sunset Test Gardens span a quarter acre and highlight food production, the Sunset plant line, bee habitat, cut flowers, and composting. Designed by Homestead Design Collective, the new gardens are divided into distinct rooms: the Cocktail Garden, the Farm Garden, Gathering Space, Backyard Orchard, and the Flower Room.

In the Sunset Outdoor Kitchen, recipes and kitchen crafts are tested, explored, and photographed in search of the best new ideas and insider tips.
